| Wat Luang is the oldest monastery inside the wall
Today nearly half of the inhabitants of Müang Sing are living in the quarter "Ban Chiang Cai", belonging to Wat Luang. |
| The Buddhist temples in Müang Sing are in good condition. Many of the devotional objects are sent from foreign countries. Obviously Lao people, who fled from communism, did not lose the ties to their homeland. |
