Müang Sing | Müang SingThe plain of Müang Sing | 30. Sep 07 |
This detail of the map F-47-107 (B.MUANGSING) of 1982 shows an area of 18 km x 18 km. The grid covers 2 km. The distance of the contour lines is 40 m. The plain of the river Nam Sing is nearly a triangle. The source of Nam Sing is situated in the mountains Southeast of Müang Sing. The road coming from Luang Nam Tha follows its valley. The river touches the eastern corner of the old town and finally meets the river Nam Dai [Day]. From then it is named Nam Youan, running northbound to China and flowing into the Mekong near the place where Laos, China and Birma (Burma, Myanmar) meet. |
